The core expert of YZY Personalized Medicine Research Center is Mr Honghao Zhou, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, a famous expert in genetic pharmacology and clinical pharmacology in China, chief professor and doctoral supervisor of pharmacology in the national key discipline of Central South University. He discovered and verified the gene dosage effect of drug metabolizing enzyme activity, and the regulatory role of drug metabolizing enzyme gene dosage in drug interaction,consequently found the basic rules of personalized medicine. He took the lead in proposing and applying the theories and laboratory results of genetic pharmacology and pharmacogenomics to clinical practice in China, and launched the personalized medication with the tenet of “The right drug for the right patient ” based on pharmacogenetics.
